The Challenge
Charlotte, the founder of The Deep Talk, and her partner Sophie knew how to activate a community on social media. They had already done this on a large scale before they approached me. Sophie has an Instagram follower base of 80K users, and Charlotte, through her professional experience, knew how to engage influencers. She sent them games every week. The influencers were wildly convinced by the product, regularly posting stories on Instagram, and the shop saw lively engagement.
However, influencer activations require manual work, and creator posts are not always successful, with varying results from one creator to another. Additionally, the reach cannot easily be scaled beyond an influencer’s audience, so the shop’s revenue plateaued.
